A very dramatic design. I love it, but it does require careful counting. I've finished the first cartouche; 3 more to go. I have to stop working on this for a few weeks though to stitch a small wedding gift for a friend.

My work in progress is the Lexine. I planned for it to be a table runner, but then realized that I had started on the wrong end. Not willing to un-stitch I decided to make a small, rectangular cushion cover. I will use it in the same room as the Byzantine Rondel and even though the colors are not the same I think they will look nice together. I was making progress until I got an invitation for a birthday. I couldn't think of a better gift than one of the Byzantine crosses. I will finish it like an ornament. Really special and Quick!
