This lavish design is inspired by a vintage Bulgarian embroidery and features stylized tulips with eight-pointed stars. The use of backstitches creates a delicate intricacy which contrasts beautifully with the highly geometric flowers and leaves. Worked in a traditional color palette of terra cotta, olive green, grey brown, warm blue, and green, it makes a beautiful cushion cover or table square.
