Kallithea is a vibrant and popular spot on the island of Rhodes where designs like this would have been stitched in the 19th century to ornament Greek homes. A simple pinwheel motif is worked in small blocks in alternating colors which creates a lively and energetic effect. Shown finished as a table square, it can also be finished as a cushion cover.
Finished size (exclusive of finishing): 13-1/2 x 14-3/8 inches
Note: White Traditional Groundcloth has a slightly uneven count which mimics handwoven fabrics so this design will be slightly larger in one direction even though it is the same number of sts in both directions
Stitch count: 180 x 180sts/12224 total sts
