This stunningly ornate border is reminiscent of embroidery designs influenced by Venetian textiles in the mid-1700s and worked throughout the Cyclades, a group of Greek islands in the Aegean sea. Tulips, cornflowers, and carnations are combined with scrolling leaves and grounded by a geometric border. Reimagined in a cheerful palette of coral, alizarin, soft yellow, and green with turquoise accents, this makes a lovely heirloom.
