I live in Mississauga, ON, Canada with my husband and adult younger son. My favourite technique is counted canvaswork. I love the string art aspect of these designs and watching the stitches build. I started with counted cross stitch back in ~2006 (my mid 40s) when I saw a cancer mandala pattern that I then stitched for my mother. I have done a bit of hardanger and pulled thread work. I picked up Avlea's Rozain Bitkit last fall. I have recently finished stitching it and am preparing to do the pulled thread hem.
