This is so pretty. Whatcha gonna do with it? I hope you’ll finish it so you can see it every day - it’s going to make you feel good every time you see it
I've only been seriously stitching for about a month, but I have been doing it everyday for that month. I can usually manage an hour in the afternoon during the week and then an hour after dinner. More on weekends. I find it very soothing and it helps to put my head in a good place.
You all are inspiring! Stitching can be similar to prayer for me. There are always other pressing matters to attend to, but once I pick it up, and go through the “quieting” phase, then it is very life giving, and restorative. ❤️
Bravo!! Beautiful. My first hem stitch went pretty well, but be patient with yourself. ❤️ Question for all you project completers—-do you stitch every day? And for how long?
Every. Single. Day! I can‘t stand to watch television without stitching. It seems like such a waste of time to sit and do nothing. I mostly manage about 3 hours a day on weeknights, and longer on weekends.
Hi Anne. This is beautiful ! When I set out to learn/relearn the hem stitch, I searched and found several YouTube videos for how to. But —— the one that really taught me clearly and slowly was Krista’s how to on the Avlea website. I highly recommend that and an uninterrupted afternoon !!!

That looks great!
Wow, this is beautiful! It's one of my favorite Avlea patterns, and your stitching is pristine!
You'll do a great job.
