I agree ! I keep coming back to this photo and just admiring and enjoying.
Oh my word, gorgeous!!
Just fantastic!! So beautiful 😍
Thank you! I loved working on this. I'm currently doing the latest Pascha basket cover and planning which Avlea pattern to do after that.
@Cindy Russell me too! I was hoping to try a little "fancier" hem stitch, without detracting from the pattern....this looks like it could work!
So who else has now googled “pea hole hemstitch?”
That hem work is the bomb! I’m gonna learn how to do that! I‘ve been dreaming about this ever since you posted it.
Thank you! I love the Avlea patterns.
It’s so beautiful! Which fabric and count did you use?
@suem3680 30-count Legacy Sotema, color Swan Feather.
This is so beautiful! Your hem stitching is gorgeous!
This has been in my wishlist. Seeing your beautiful finish is causing me to buy it !
This is a truly beautiful pattern!
Made this a bit longer on one side to create a rectangle. Colors: 3777 (very dark terra cotta); 729 (old gold, medium); 413 (pewter gray, dark). On Legacy Sotema 30-count linen, Swan Feather color. Hem was a modified/simplified (I call it "lacy") pea hole hem.
Cindy - you need to show us all
How to do these
Beautiful hem techniques !
Looks AMAZING! Such a beautiful hem finish, too!
Thank you! I enjoyed every minute of this beautiful pattern.
