Another Avlea favorite! Here's my version of the Peloponnesian Poppy. My colors are a bit more saturated, but they'll work in mid- summer, fall, and in winter! This was a very fun pattern!

Your hem stitching on the piece is gorgeous, not to mention your cross stitching. I like your colors as well. Is the darker red Krista's rosewood or garnet? I am about to start Mirabella that uses rosewood, and I am starting to really like it.
Once again, you've managed to get me to say ooooh out loud. I really like how the elegance of this design is framed by your hemwork. Your corners are SO special - you really need to write a book so that we can all study your technique. It's difficult to find instructions for hemming, especially for hemming that turns a corner.

This is really a stunning piece, and so faultlessly finished. I particularly love the way the corners in your drawn thread borders almost look like little round cathedral windows. The perfect frame for a beautiful design.
