Well, this isn’t a traditional layout, or traditional colors, but for a long time I’ve had my eye out for a pattern that evoked the feeling of a mosaic, and thanks to Krista, this Celandine pattern came along! To me this variation looks somewhat like a mosaic with studded ruby and jade colored glass. Very cooling and unassuming. The actual pattern is fairly subtle in this color (DMC 3033 mocha brown, very light), but in bright light the pattern is clearly visible. So, it changes its appearance based on the lighting. Fun! Finished size: approximately 32” long x 13” wide. Yes, I wanted a long runner! Fabric is Avlea Greek 32-count Porcelain.

Stunning and sophisticated. A future heirloom I hope!
Beautiful well done!
I'm working on a very long one of these myself, probably about 35" but I'm not entirely sure just yet. I wish I'd studied yours more carefully before I stitched the corners - the little bit of negative space is a nice touch. And the border changes are brilliant! And you switched the orientation of the inner border! And your soft colors are so calming! So wonderful!
Absolutely stunning! This piece is so elegant. Your hem is perfection and inspiring. Thank you for sharing your colors. ♥️
Delicate and beautiful
Wonderfully subtle and sophisticated, and the beautifully executed proportions of the pulled thread hem balances it superbly.
So beautiful! and the colors you used are so elegant! can you please share the other two colors you used?
