I'm so enjoying working on this embroidery project. My head just seems to be in more of an embroidery place than a cross stitch place at the moment. The design is starting to really come to life as I add each new color.

I agree--after stitching 6 surface designs in the last couple of months, it is different from cross stitch, but in a nice way. I've enjoyed the variety and am finding a new appreciation for cross stitch now that I'm back to it. Lots of embroidery to love!
I have started mine and I am finding surface embroidery is so relaxing. I'm looking forward to more cushion covers.
