My sister recently finished the lovely Antonia border pattern, on a cream linen using two Victorian Motto cottons and a Silks4U silk. She normally works on full coverage pieces (HAEDs, and the like), but I suggested she try an Avlea for a gift she needed, and it turned out lovely. I thought you might like to see it in these colors--Pat does love to work in blues! Surprisingly, she told me she purchased "a few" more pdf's last week, so her confetti-heavy pieces may get some competition?

Very nice. A fairly simple design, but very effective. Lovely finishing.
Oooohhhhh! Me Likey! Your hem stitching is gorgeous!
This is lovely! And the hemming is perfect. (Teamwork!) What a nice gift. I like the colors. These patterns are all so adaptable -- they look beautiful in so many colorways. Thanks for sharing this!
This linen looks crisp and textured. Perfect for this.
Absolutely perfect, Antonia! I just love to see how the designs "change" with a different colorway. And what a perfect team you have--one does the design and the other the hemstitching!
Thank you for posting this. It’s so beautiful. There are so many designs on Avlea site that it is hard to focus on some of them, but taken out of the crowd, they really shine like this one.
Oh my word, this is classy! I love it on the linen and with those gorgeous flosses! If she's used to full coverage designs, she's going to love how quickly some of these border designs work up :)
