What an inspiration that you are continuing to learn new things!! It is challenging to “see” the stitches. I am not a prolific stitcher; my projects that have been just one color have been the most relaxing to stitch and learn how to count. I do have to count and recount, and take out! Again, thanks for the inspiration.

This is what I have been doing, but— I had some stitches coming loose 😳—and I even found the thread to pull it taut, but it came loose again. So that sent me on a rabbit trail to find more secure options, especially if I am stitching things that will be used.

A sad story. After this photo, I finished the cross, and went to count the next heart cross design. I stitched it, but when I was doing the back stitch flourish, I realized I was half a stitch off. I unstitched, and started again, and was off again. Now my beautiful white linen has red tinting, and all my meditative progress has vanish. I did not touch it all week, due to other things as well, but ….a sad story.

You all are inspiring! Stitching can be similar to prayer for me. There are always other pressing matters to attend to, but once I pick it up, and go through the “quieting” phase, then it is very life giving, and restorative. ❤️
