Avid, read that as compulsive, cross stitcher who started in the 1980s (I'm now 82) when Rosey Grier wrote his book "Cross Stitch for Men". Generally prefer large samplers from designers like Moira Blackburn. Now I am learning surface embroidery, have had a difficult time finding designs/kits that I like until I finally came across Avlea Folk Embroidery......what great designs!
