I used double sided sticky tape to adhere my needle minder to one of the tightening knobs on my embroidery stand. I may put one on the left hand knob also just to make it prettier!

I have only worked on Aida cloth 20 plus years ago and I will never use it again! This fabric is wonderful! I started stitching in the center of the pattern, so the half olive green star on the right is the center. This will certainly be an heirloom when finished. ( I accidentally added an additional stitch in one part of the design, but thankfully it did not throw off the rest of the stitching.)
