My high quality kits come with everything you need to make the runner in the photos--26 count 100% cotton Traditional Groundcloth (imported from Greece), DMC floss, full color SOC (symbol-on-chart) pattern with both a close up and a full size schematic so you know how many repeats to work, along with a John James size 24 tapestry needle. The raw edges of the fabric are serged for your convenience, so you can start stitching as soon as you open the kit!
 
Note: if you would like to stitch this on 30 count fabric, the finished size will be approx 16.5 x 27 inches. If you do this, I recommend starting 1.5 inches in from either corner rather than 2 inches in as the pattern specifies. You'll have a little less hem allowance, but you'll be able to use an 18x36 piece of fabric rather than having to order a full yard.
