A stylized aster (daisy) motif is set within a diamond border and then outlined with an additional square border. This beautiful design is a classic example of the use of stylized floral motifs contrasted with geometric shapes that is often seen in folk embroidery. Shown worked in SoulWool cobweb lace yarn and finished as a cozy cushion.
