We had our first snowfall of the season on Sunday so I hunkered down and stitched Krista’s fantastic new design. I didn’t have enough blue floss on hand, so I opted for a green palate because I thought it’d fit my Christmas décor. I wanted to try something new with the hemstitch and tried my hand at the zigzag pattern, but my corners need work. All in all, a great snowy Sunday!

Oh, that’s so pretty!
Beautiful in the green!
Wow! I love this! Your stitching is so neat, and that hem! -- Congratulations on that zig zag hem. You're right that it suits the piece.
How beautiful!! And I love the color change and your hemming… oh my!! I’ll need to try that one - I just love it. And I agree - much better than work 😊
OMYGOODNESS! One day? You're a rock star. Plus, I love that you stitched to avoid a work project. I aspire to do that! Yay, you! Anti-work needlework needs to be a thing.
Your hemming is fresh and really interesting. I love the way it perfectly suits the border of this design.
And you changed up the color - so creative and seasonally appropriate.
Everything you stitched/said is perfect.
Love the green! This is such a great two-tone design--I think the original was most likely red and black, but I love how you can change it up so easily. And, your hem looks pretty swanky to me :)
Lovely! I'm planning to make this one for my husband soon, as his mom was of Norwegian descent and this will remind him of her. But, am I understanding right that you stitched this up in a single day?! If so, I take my hat off to you. The drawn thread hemming is really cool looking, too.
