After I finished the Myriam’s Garden with yellow flowers (posted in a previous post), I imagined it with violet flowers, or pink, or blue, or even tiger-lily orange. Sometimes resistance is futile. I already had most of the stitch paths figured out, and knew where the watch-out-for sections were, so I jumped in. Here is my latest Myriams’s garden – with pale blue flowers! I love it. This pattern is so flexible. It has both challenging and meditative sections. I’ll do another project before I try this again with yet another color, but I haven’t tired of this pattern yet.
Done on Avlea's Greek linen (porcelain); colors: 520-green ; 159-light blue ; 792-flower centers. Finished size: 20-inches square.
So so pretty!
