A new favorite! Or at least another favorite. This Myriam's Garden is a bit more of a mid-summer version with a deeper green vine and golden flower centers. I love it. Now I'm trying to resist doing another one right away with cornflower (or forget-me-not) blue flowers, or violet flowers or . . . the possibilities are endless! It's such a pretty design.
This was done on Krista's new Greek linen (Porcelain) which was a joy to stitch on. Final size is 20-inches square. Colors: 520 green (vine); 676 yellow (flowers); 782 gold (flower centers).
And yes, this got a special hem decoration since I thought the piece deserved a bit of "exotic."
I will admit, this design never stood out for me, but, WOW! The richer colors makes it really pop! As always, your hem-work is stellar!
Incredible!! Such an heirloom. ❤️
That hemming! Big wow. It really makes the gorgeous design pop. I hadn't paid much attention to this design before, but now I'm thinking... what a beautiful pillow it would make...
Your color way really makes the design pop. And your workmanship - ohmygoodnessiwannadothat!
Once again, your hemming is stunning - you had me running to my needlework books to look through different configurations.
So beautiful! You’re an artist with the needle Love the colors
Really gorgeous and the special hem decoration definitely puts it in the exotic categoryl
I love this pattern and it is in my queue to be stitched.
That hem is stunning! Really sets off the design!
