Hi Krista,
Your video tutorials are really helpful. I'm wondering if you would consider making a tutorial about how to frame a cross-stitched piece – maybe using the Byzantine band sampler, once it's complete?
Professional framing is SO expensive, but I haven't yet had the courage to try my own hand at it. I've been too afraid that I would ruin something I've put so much work into! 😆 With your clear and helpful guidance, I managed to get over my fear of hemstitching; maybe framing is next?
Thanks for considering!
Looks great – thanks for the resource!
Well, I don't really do "professional" framing--I just lash the embroidery to a piece of archival foam core and then get a frame and pop it in, so I'm not really an expert in this and I think there are probably better people to teach how to do this :)
I really like American Frame and I think they have some tutorials at their website, plus a nifty feature that allows you to upload your artwork/textile and see how it looks in the various frames. You could always try framing a small piece to get the hang of it.
